Agility Meets Industry

Created with Sketch.

In order to successfully deal with the increasingly complex requirements in mechatronic product development, agile approaches are being implemented or scaled in five Upper Austrian companies. The Institute for Agile Transformation supports the project partners by analyzing the status quo of agility at the project, organizational and individual levels using qualitative and quantitative methods and then implementing recommendations for action for sustainable agile transformation together with highly qualified consultants.

Agile Business Model Development

Created with Sketch.

In product development, agility is already an established standard in many companies. Research into agile business model development, on the other hand, is still in its infancy. The Institute for Agile Transformation has set itself the goal of transferring the strengths of agile methods to business model innovations.

Climate change, loss of biodiversity, social injustice and an ageing society are among the greatest challenges of our time and are characterised by the highly complex interconnection of many different systems. The aim of this international Erasmus+ project is to develop teaching methods that develop the competences of future students in the disciplines of agile methods, user-driven sustainable design, eco-design and systems thinking so that they can apply them directly to complex social issues in the future.

MakerSpace

The MakerSpace is part of the F(H)uture Space and serves as a space for developing functional prototypes. Complex three-dimensional models can be created within a short time on the 3D printers. The combination of a small workshop, a laser cutter and a CNC milling machine allows the processing of wood, plastics and soft metals. And with the help of the electronics workstations, you can build, test or repair your own circuits.
